he will contact his colleagues there and see if we can arrange a meeting during the third week of February.
He will get back to me on early this week.
I will also revert with my comments on the draft tomorrow. I will tidy it up and send you very soon. I will also have conversations with the influential figures in Somalia about your proposal and will gage their views. This is a good idea and I will take it forward and will come back to you with my findings. Hope they will affectionately welcome your initiative. I can understand your frustration with Somaliland’s political elite. I hope they will one day learn from you or listen.

With German Foreign ministry with your assistance. I highly welcome your ideas in the email below. We talked about these things in the telephone and I think we can push both ideas. We will talk about the challenges when we meet as you said. About Silanyo wife, you are right and she have so much power because of her husbands health and age problem. Also there are many other people around her with considerable power. Remember, these are not consititional powers, they are just abusing the system and that is a reality. We will deal with them insha allah. I do not talk about them publically these days as they have made a deal with me recently but I will trye to talk to them privately. Everybody is stealing the little resources there and no one can stop them. Her son inlaw and many other femail friends do need to be convinsed if our projects have to work. If we get the contract from them, We have to give them slice of the cake as well Mark! We will talk more and I will give you more information.

I tried to reach you several times yesterday in Finland on the nummer you gave Omar. Unfortunately without success — the telephone was always engaged.
But Omar informs me that you will be visiting Germany in February and Inshallah I hope it will be possible to see you while you are there. I prefer to talk to you in person so we could deeply formilate and develop our ideas and the things we want to do and achieve together in Somaliland. We will prioritise your idea or initiative for the co-federation paper for Somalia/Somaliland, and we will also discuss how we will sell our other project to Somaliland. I mean the project to promote Somaliland in the West and to help Somaliland get a UN seat. We are very interested to undertake that project and if you manage to sell it to Silanyo and his guys, you will surely have your slice of the cake. How confident arre you to convince Silanyo’s wife? Is she the only person to deal with? I wonder if others, like her son inlaw needs to be made involved as well. We will talk all those things in detail.
Do you already know when in February you will be in Germany?
