Somaliland Cannot Be Left In The Hands Of People Who Have Benefited From Plunder, Corruption, Mismanagement Of Our Resources Otherwise We Will Never See The Change We Can Live In.

As a Somaliland nation we are engaged in a battle of values, vision and principles. These are unchanging cardinal beliefs about life,for close to 30 years we have failed this test and we cannot a fail in the 2015 resit.

Leaders(read political leaders) drive their mandate from the will of the majority voters,regardless of the opposition such a person becomes the bone vide leader,but recognition comes with responsibity,fairness and equal distribution of resources and oportunities.When the leader(read mp,governor,etc) fails to do that,then we ,the subjects will critise him.

criticism should not be taken as being an enemy.its both objective and subjective,the former is encouraged in all political systems except where clannism or despotism is used like in my beloved country, examples of objective criticism is where we analyze achievements of the somaliland regions as whole in roads construction,bridges,hospitals,education etc on equal and level distribution of opportunities.

Mr. Siilanyo and his government has been receiving huge sums of cash from the International Donors and local tax many which they collected from Somaliland People. The sectors that received the highest amounts include health, water/sanitation, Education, urban/rural roads-new and upgrading and other social services. Shocking again millions of shillings USD were received from the international donors is yet to be accounted for. That is why Mr.Siilanyo is unable to face the public even after he was severally summoned. Four(4) reasons why the Mr.Siilanyo and his minister should exert their powers are as follows.

1. Mismanagement of public resources by the structures in his government-millions of public funds are going into wrong peoples' pockets. No accountabilities that can convince the general public.

2. General under development in the Country-As we all take a transect walk through the entire country, there is no any indicator that something is going on. We all know and have been to Burco,Borama,Gabiiley,Hargeisa, berbera,Las-calood, Ceeri-gaabo, Sallahley, Oodweyne,Baligubadle, Lug-haya, Seylac etc, hardly no signs of development. No roads, no dispensaries, few dispensaries with no medicine and staff, In fact in all the places you visited in the country the people are really crying day in day out. Plastic bags and other Trash are crossings on the rough roads of every town the only thing the billions of shillings could do?

3. There is nepotism in terms of recruitment- This is evident you only need to refer to all those who were employed in the country. 86% of the positions have gone to the Governors and Ministers clan, 9% to their friends which is not their clans , 3% unknown and 2% to all other Somaliland community. If you don't believe this, wait for the list i am working on, It will be released very soon.

4. Heaps of corruption in the Mr.Siilanyo Government-The procurement procedures and processes are faulty a clear indication that corruption is at advance stage. If you are a contractor, then the procurement procedure is that you give a kick back. It normally ranges from 34% to 55% depending on the project amount. This has adversely affected the quality of projects. See the shoddy works going on in the county.

Do you honestly believe that we have any individual right now in Somaliland politics who can give people the change we want?. This guys talk of the same things every election time but they deliver nothing absolutely nothing . Empty promises. If a whole minister cannot even understand the tax system and where the Tax Money collected from people goes to,or someone makes remarks such as Paying tax being a generous contribution to people, or even worse reverse democratic process they fought for when they were in opposition. Then we are living in a world where only those in power will keep on benefiting and making changes to suite their political ambitions. Our only hope of knowing what they do behind our back has been taken away.So again Somaliland remains in Darkness

The problem in our country is the developers are detatched from planners. Policy implimentors have no time share with policy makers. The push and pull between judiciary and legislative is no better.
